Hevy partners with Teenage Cancer Trust
Hevy Music Festival are proud to announce their partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust at this years festival. We will be collecting donations on all guest list and press passes for the charity as well as having an information booth on site.
Every day in the UK, six young people are told they have cancer. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young people with cancer aged between 13 and 24. They build specialist units within NHS hospitals, bringing young people together to be treated by teenage cancer experts in a place designed just for them. They want every young person with cancer to have access to this specialist support, no matter where they live.
As well as specialist units, Teenage Cancer Trust also funds a number of services including clinical and research staff, an education programme for schools, family support networks and an annual conference for young cancer patients. All have the same goal – to help young people fight cancer.
